How to be Born Again and What it really means?

I know you may or may not have heard about being Born Again,but do you really know what it means? Why not take out time to understand what it really means this once.

What does it mean to be Born Again?
Every man has both Spirit and flesh. "the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being - Genesis 2:7". When man sinned he died spiritually (Rom 3:23) and also fell from the glory in which God has given him for we were created to be like him and in his image to rule over the earth. Since man's spirit was dead, he could only function in the flesh but the flesh is weak in every way (Rom 8:3). Man's nature was now in sin. That is why a baby born today naturally learns evil (to lie, steal, etc.) and find it hard to resist it. So when Jesus Christ died and rose again, he took our sinful spirit and put it to death, replacing it will a new spirit that only can be gotten from Jesus Christ.The Born Again experience is a spiritual rebirth in Christ Jesus. Our birth to this world is only phyiscal but that in Christ Jesus is the Second Birth that is called "Born Again", which only happens once you believe in Christ Jesus and Pray for forgiven of your sin (don't worry Jesus Christ will do the rest).

Who Should be Born Again?
All who haven't accepted Jesus Christ before as Lord and Saviour are the ones that should. It doesn't matter what tribe, religion or culture.

Why must I be Born Again?
The bible says except a man be born again he cannot enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:3). "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. - John 4:24". You cannot get access to God if your spirit is not activated in Christ Jesus. Only when you belong to God can you get to live the way he wants you to. I have never seen a manufacturer that makes his product just to fail. God made you and He never makes failures, nor disease, nor does he want us to die (John 3:16). He is perfect in all ways (Matt 5: 48). If you belong to God, and you were made in his image, then dont you think you have power to do and undo things(Gen 1:28)? We are his Children, and I don't see a goat giving birth to a pig (John 10:34). You can only be his child again, if you choose to follow God through Jesus Christ. God says that sin brings death. As long as you Sin you are on the road to hell. I guess you tried to stop sinning but you couldn't. The only way to stop it is by been Born Again, let Jesus Christ control you and not your flesh control you. Jesus Christ came to show us to way (John 14:6).

How Can I be Born Again?
All you have to do is believe that Jesus is the Christ and the only begotton Son of God, that he died and rose again. If you just believe and say a short prayer with us, you will be Born again in Jesus name.

We are so glad that you want to be Born Again, please just follow the instructions below and let God do the rest.

Just a Short prayer to take you there!
You can say this pray sitting down, standing up, kneeling down, it doesn't matter, what matters is believing what you are reading and saying it in your heart.

Prayer:
Lord God, I believe in your Son, Jesus Christ, that he died and rose again for my sake. Lord Jesus, forgive my sins and come into my life to take absolute control, fill me with the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name. Amen.

If you have prayed this short prayer, I thank God for you. That is all you have to do for your name to be written in the Book of Life but you must now have to do certain things to stay and grow in Christ Jesus. I will list a few things.

What do I do after now?
1. You must Read your Bible everyday and any time you feel you should in your heart, you can start from the book of St. John One. Reading the bible makes you know more about God and what he wants you to be and what you are in Him. It is the spiritual food for our spirit.

2. You must pray everyday and anytime you are led to do so in your heart. Prayer will help you fight temptation (Matt 26:41) and keep you strong. Prayer is talking to God. Then you can ask for anything but believe when you ask (Matt 21:22).

3. Join a good Church or Fellowship, there you will mix with people of your kind and learn more. Do not be disturbed when you see a Christian like you sin but look at Jesus Christ who is the only perfect example to follow. So don't try to be like any man but Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came in this world as flesh, leaving his throne just to show us the way to go (John 14:6).

4. Avoid bad company, for it does corrupt good character (1 Cor 15:33)

5. Let me tell you; what you hear, see and read goes straight to the heart. Let's say you watch a film containing sex, that will most likely be what you will think of when you see the opposite sex or even when your mind is idle, or you watch a film containing volience, then you will most like want to punch someone when he offends you.

6. Try to get filled with the Holy Spirit of God which will help you in many ways. You can ask about this in your Fellowship or Church. This is the very important! It is your new conscience.
