Pure in Heart -5: Purification and Dreams

PURE IN HEART – 4

Praise God for another wonderful day to share a thought with you. Today, let us look at more benefits of having a pure heart.

Purification and Dreams

Purification also affects our dreams - it does not only make us have clear visions and dreams from God but we are able to actually see God face to face and interact with Him directly. If we have impurity in our hearts, our dreams from God could be blurry and sometimes corruptible by external sources. Moreover, God would only reveal Himself to us in dreams using the faces of popular ministers of the gospel or the faces of someone holy to minister to us. So the importance of holiness cannot be overemphasized because even the scriptures says we ought to be holy just as God is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). Therefore Christians must not abuse the grace of God to keep living unholy lives, but rather use the grace of God to attain to that form of purity that is expected of them.

The first step of purification is to be born again, because being born again replaces our spirit man and prepares it for the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, who will help us in the sanctification of our soul and body. Therefore if you are not born again, I would advise that you should do so today because it is very easy to do. Jesus has done the hard part of it all by giving His life as a sacrifice for our sins, so all you need to do is believe in His finished work and ask Him for the gifts that comes along with it, which is the gift of eternal life. You can say the prayer for salvation right in faith.

Prayer for Salvation

Dear Lord, I believe Jesus died and rose again for me. Forgive me my sins and come into my life. I confess Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you Father for doing this for me. Reveal yourself to me today. In Jesus name, Amen.

Congrats, your status has changed to that of a child of God, if you said this prayer in faith.
